A Day in KIIT

Your input is important to us. Please provide your valuable feedback. Here are some testimonials from our Students:

Even after 10 years of passing out from the KIIT University , The 1st day in KIIT is still afresh in my memory like a morning blossom flower.

It was back in July 2002, when we had our orientation in the old MBA building in KIIT (Situated in Patia Village). After Orientation we were allocated in rented hostel outside campus as our in house hostel was under construction. However within 2 months a beautiful hostel campus named KINGS PALACE (II) was ready to occupy. This reflects the kind of dynamism and responsive character of the institute under the astute leadership of our lovable SAMATA SIR as we fondly remember.

We were blessed to enjoy the both worlds as we were the last batch to enroll under UTKAL UNIVERSITY and passed out with Autonomous KIIT Degree.

During these 4 years, I have enjoyed each and every moment of my life. Starting from stealing food from canteen in night to become the mess secretary later. Bunking the classes to face the show cause notice for attendance shortage and rusticate from hostel for mid night brawl till becoming the NCC cadet (SCO) and leading the state in NIC Gujarat and Making my college proud by wining state level shooting competition in NCC.

There are many moments which I can’t describe here, However would definitely spell out few names here who made my time in KIIT a memorable one . Thanks to Sucheta Mam, Venkat Sir , Hostel Waden Rath Sir and staffs, My roomies Som, Sambit. My Best Buddies Anand, Tarun, Bikas , Sona, Sudha, Rashmita, Padma, Alka , Iti etc. My juniors staying in our floor. (Apologies I missed any name ) .

It was indeed a privilege to be part of KIIT and proud to be associated with this forever.

Well, everyone has some good experiences and some bad experiences. I have also faced some bad experiences but that can be easily overlooked by the number of good experiences that I have had.

Coming to KIIT University was a wise decision that I took some 6 years ago. I joined KSOM on 14th September, 2010 and I instantly liked KIIT. I was feeling confident and independent. From thereon, my journey started. By the time my BBA got over I was matured and ready to face the challenges of life. KIIT has given me ample number of experiences.

It made me stronger as a person. Made me Independent. Gave me life's lessons. Sharpened my skills. Gave me a platform to showcase my talents. In short, KIIT helped me grow as an individual.

I continued my education and completed my MBA too from KSOM. And today, whatever I am its because of my Alma Mater and the peoplr associated with it. The teaching and non-teaching staffs for they are the ones who taught me the real meaning of life and made me a better person.

KIIT has given me the most beautiful days of my life -

As a kid, many people get asked different variations of the same question: “What has been your best experience?” And even at that age, there are many joyful moments to consider-birthday parties, trips to the local amusement park, and bicycle-riding lessons. But often, it is not until your adult life that you go through many of your most valuable events. Some, for instance, may find their time in the military to be of utmost importance to them, while others sometimes find that their experience as a parent was the most rewarding one they have had. Personally though, I consider my time in college as my most valuable experience.

First, my experience in college has given me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice. There have been, and there will continue to be, many opportunities to learn more ways of improving my craft as a result of my time in school, which I am truly thankful for. Because of this, I realized I still had a lot to learn despite what I thought; but this allows me to improve my skills more as I continue to attend school and also gives me more confidence in my area. And as a result, I know one day this valuable experience will help me in my search for another one-a rewarding career.

A special thanks to Samanta Sir, Dr Sucheta Priyabadini Ma'am and all teaching and non teaching staffs.

Thankyou !!!

My life in Kiit began at KIMS LT-1 in 2010 with dream of adding a suffice of "Dr." to my name, but destiny had something else in store for me, this journey has seen many ups and downs but what is more interesting is that I have seen KIIT grow along with us ,from barren lands to beautifully sculptured gardens, from Indian National Science Congress to KIITFEST I have seen and university and the students grow in quality, quantity and somewhere a small contribution from my side may also be remembered. Today as my journey is about to end in the KIMS I see the building if KSAC more vibrant probably larger than our expectation during its foundation....NSS-KIMS to KRITIKA to KIIT WORDSMITH is probably the best refreshment in this journey and winning STUDENT of the YEAR was probably the bonus to this journey and reaching the final destination of getting a DR is probably the last leg...finally I would like to say the life at KIIT and Journey is ever continuing....

KIIT university, being in the field of education, has to understand that our mission is to contribute in putting a stop to any further exploitation of our mother earth which has already become too feeble to bear with it any more. We can not forget the first unique conversation from space to the earth by an Indian astronaut to the then prime minister of India, who stated with excitement and exclamation “sare jahan se achha….” Appreciating the beauty of mother earth. Now this beautiful mother earth is at the verge of collapse as corroborated by the global warming as a consequence of rupture of ozone layer. We have to teach our students the ways and means to protect the humanity by understanding, appreciating and following the laws of nature which unfortunately are being neglected. I wish to put on record my appreciations and gratitude to the esteemed, highly qualified, world renowned, internationally recognized and honoured faculty of kiit university for their continuous, untiring efforts and immense contributions without which we could not have crossed so many milestones and reached to the present levels of achievements.
